I loved that opening imagery, and glaring "FUCK. ME. NOW. SAM!" was absolutely lovely ;) Sleep-dumb, I love that phrase. I got a teenager that it TOTALLY fits come 6:00 a.m. lol, so the imagery there tickled me to death. The banter that follows was priceless. Nice twist with the thief and the hooker, ingenious, really and the ending couldn’t have been more perfect. Great stuff.

I have to say that I loved the original, and I love this version too! It's such a wonderful idea for a story and I love that John and Mary are now at peace together, finally.
